History
I rode my first “real” mountain bike in 1991 and was instantly smitten. It’s two decades later and my love affair with bicycles is even stronger. Over these many years, cycling has brought many wonderful people into my life.The more people I meet, the more stories I hear about breast cancer. Stories of women I don’t know and stories of ones that I do. I smile when I hear about the women that win their battles and my heart breaks when I hear about the women that don’t. I hope I never have to hear another story of a woman that didn’t make it, or even worse, hear that a simple screening may have caught a problem before it was too late.
I ride to save boobs, but more importantly, I ride to save lives.
